  • What do I need to do before my peel?
    We advise you to stop using any active skincare products containing AHA, BHA, retinol, glycolic or bleaching products, for 3 days prior to your peel. If you have an impaired skin barrier, you will need to restore and hydrate your skin prior to your peel. We recommended avoiding sunbeds and ensure you haven't had a sunburn within 2 weeks of your treatment. Avoid waxing, laser, peels, microdermabrasion and electrolysis 1-2 weeks prior to treatment
  • What does the procedure involve?
    Following a comprehensive consultation and screening to ensure the Obagi Blue Radiance peel is appropriate for you, one of our doctors will begin by applying a peel prep solution to cleanse your skin. Next, the peel solution will be applied to your face and left on for a maximum of 12 minutes, with the number of applications (either one or two) depending on your skin type. The treatment will end with the application of a gentle cleanser and SPF for protection.
  • What aftercare do I need to be aware of?
    Although the Blue Peel RADIANCE is designed to be mild, it's common to experience some light peeling and redness as you start to see your new, radiant skin. You should notice improvements after just one session. To ensure your skin stays protected and healthy during the process, follow these key steps: Always use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 for a week. Keep using sunscreen even after the first week to protect your skin and keep up the results of your peel. Stay out of direct sunlight to avoid issues with healing and potentially undoing the peel's effects. Be gentle with your skin. Avoid scrubbing or peeling off any flaky skin. Skip products with alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids, retinoids, retinols, and fragrances for a few days post-peel.
